Gov. Hochul: Sign 1-Yr Data Center Ban Into Law!

Data centers to power AI use huge amounts of energy and water, speeding climate change and increasing air pollution while also driving already high utility prices up even further for all New Yorkers. The Legislature passed a critical 1-year moratorium on big new data centers in the state. Urge business-friendly, environment-weak Governor Kathy Hochul to sign this bill into law ASAP rather than vetoing it.
